Float into Stillness

” In the midst of movement and chaos,

Keep stillness inside you.”

-Deepak Chopra

Stillness is powerful! May you savor each moment to replenish your body, mind, and soul. Allow time and space for your breath to move you, expand your lungs, and stretch your body. Float down the river of time with no steering wheel. Embrace the waters of the unknown that carry you along the riverbed of life as experience, thoughts, emotions, and energy flow through you. Turn your face to the sky, float on your back and become one with the water. You are safe. All is well. Surrender and embrace tranquility to soothe your nervous system, listen to your thoughts, self-reflect, or dream.

Harness the power of your Parasympathetic Nervous System for less distraction, improved self-control, and peace. Most people are overfed, overstimulated, over-scheduled, yet physically, emotionally, and spiritually undernourished. Practice finding stillness by welcoming any thoughts and sensations as a part of your experience and release them as fluctuations of the mind separate from the life force of your being. Allow yourself to flow through the fluctuations of the mind and become aware and awake, without forcing yourself into stillness. It’s about finding the flow and responding to yourself while meditating. Serenity will find you.

Channel your ability to be fully present to improved focus, performance, productivity, creativity, and speed of learning. Stillness isn’t only sitting with your eyes closed, it can be experienced in many ways: soaking in a beautiful sunset, stargazing, gardening, creative projects, exercising, exploring nature, and so much more. Take time to float into stillness to reduce blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension and stress levels. Find what floats your boat and learn to steer your ship to health, happiness, and peace!
